When I first opened Proby & Associates, Inc. in 1987, I spoke those words to the very first client we ever did work for - the Fortress Corporation in Miami and Boston. Since then, I have not stopped saying it to the many valued clients that have entrusted us with their advertising, public relations and marketing communications needs. I learned as a corporate marketing executive that the best outside firms are those who back up what they preach - to provide senior level attention at all times. So while other firms may cast their clients to junior level people, I have unwaveringly remained the bottom line supervisor who handles our firm's clients. It precludes us from being a big shop, but I would rather keep what we've got than have to constantly replace what we've lost.
